| The knot of eternity is a design used across many cultures, East and West. Various symbolic interpretations include the interconnectedness of all things, the intertwining of wisdom and compassion, and since the knot has no beginning or end it also symbolizes the infinite wisdom of the Buddha. It is one of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism. |
